Thank Mark!!! Based on your enthusiastic endorsement, I am cutting back on the family pets’ food supply and my daughters’ college funds. Gotta get a PODx3 Live!

Thanks for your review. I just looking for a thumbs up.

Are you using the X3L with RWS via the USB or are you using the RW2 Line6 version? I thought I had read there was a problem with USB drivers.

BTW, I have been following the Line6 forum very closely. And I do currently own a XTL.

I really like the inclusion of the XLR input.

going to be X3L via USB to RWS when that function/update happens - supposed to be Friday the Oct. 12 for drivers, Variax and I think USB capabilities then. I think I have to wait for a GearBox upgrade until Jan 2008

Mark, would you mind elaborating on this comment? Sorry, I know you must be wanting to spend time with that X3L. I guess I am asking if you’re referring to anything beyond the known list of new features. Up until the arrival of the X3L, there seemed to be little criticism of the XTL.

Thanks - Ed

I was alluding to the effects loop and dual amp capabilities (since the GT-8 has had them since I made my decision to go with Line6 3 years ago), larger LCD, the acoustic pre-amps and effects that TonePort has had and an incredibly heavy duty non-squeaky on board vol/wah/tweak pedal. Stuff like that.
