Hello,

I was using a Guitarport with Riffworks v1 and 3 InstantDrummer Sessions (GasUp And Go, Heavy Core Too and Marching and Moshing). The license key was set to the Guitarport.

I also use a Toneport UX2 and now I want to record with the UX2 and Riffworks v2.
Both devices are registered at Line6.

I transfered the one license key (includes Riffworks v1 and the 3 InstantDrummers) to my Toneport. Now Riffworks v1 and the 3 InstantDrummers are activated in Monkey for the Toneport UX2.

I installed the Riffworks v2 Demo software and purchased an upgrade license key.
Then I activated the Riffworks v2 Line6 edition software.

But I can´t find my InstantDrummers Sessions in the new v2 software.

I searched the FAQ:

"If you are a RiffWorks (v1) user who purchased InstantDrummer sessions from Line 6, and you upgrade to RiffWorks Line 6 Edition (v2), your drummers will work fine. "

How can I use my InstantDrummer Sessions with Riffworks v2?

Regards

Did you happen to uninstall RiffWorks 1 before installing RiffWorks 2? The key is to leave RiffWorks 1 installed (which includes the V1 drummers) and then install V2. During the installation you should be prompted to copy the older InstantDrummers to the new V2 directory.

If you did uninstall RiffWorks 1 first, then do you still have the V1 drummers located somewhere? Let me know and I can help you reinstall them without having RiffWorks V1 installed.

Hello,

thank you, I solved the problem now.

Riffworks v1 is still installed so I copied the InstantDrummer Session .swd-Files from old

...Line6Riffworksdrummers

directory to the new

...Sonoma Wire WorksRiffWorks Line 6 Editionresourcesdrummers

directory and it works.
I did not recognize first, that there are different installation folders, cause the software was called upgrade :-)
So it was no license key problem.
