Howdy. Is the Amplitube that comes with RW Standard the full blown version of just an upgrade? I downloaded a few times and all I get is the user manual.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Bill it's the LE version. Not the full blown version but more than just a user manual :D

In RW Standard it should be under the "AMP" tab (at the bottom, click on the 'Hardware' button and it will be the first tab under effects).

I hope that helps!

What gator said.

The LE version gives you 3 or 4 different amp models, which honestly aren't any better than you can get with a Pod/GuitarPort/TonePort.

Kewl! Thanks! I found it. It is asking me for a product key. Any thoughts on where I can get it from?

I seem to remember...in the store there is a small separate download for the serial number. You will need this to get through the registration. I believe you have to do a couple challenge and response steps to get it registered with IK then you'll not be bothered any more.

It's certainly something different to play with though not chock full o' goodies like the full version. It's a nice touch especially if you don't use a GuitarPort or POD. And heck it gives you an on screen tuner too! :D

Gator's correct. Go to your Sonoma account and find the .txt file to download with the serial number.
Amplitube sounds (to me at least) very different from the Line6 models and I've been using both to try and get a 'beefier' sound a la Def Leppard (when they used Teles, SGs and Les Pauls to multi-track single guitar parts).
Look forward to hearing your stuff once you've got Amplitube up and running.

BTW, we never did get that Ace track going. When are we going to work together again? ;)
Cheers!
Scott
