I just saw that this issue is a recognized problem by Sonoma on their notes regarding upgrade for Line 6 edition release 2.1 Build 2710 (see below)
Work-around for Known Issue on Windows
On Windows, the dialog appears to only allow selecting a path on the C: drive.
However, it will accept paths on other disks to be typed in manually using the following procedure: (NO - sorry - this doesn't work on my system)
Create a folder that you would like to use, e.g. "F:RiffWorksRecordings".
Open AudioSetup
Click on Select Record Path
Double click on a folder in the window (any folder) so that a path shows up in the text box at the top.
Paste or type in a complete path you want on a different drive, including the drive letter, e.g. "F:RiffWorksRecordings". Just a drive letter, e.g. "F:", won't work.
The path has to include a folder that already exists.
Click OK.
Okay - I followed the above instructions step-by-step - the software said "Changes will take effect on the next Restart of Riffworks" - fine, I quit, restarted Riffworks and I'm back at square one. The software is pointing to the C: Drive and cannot be changed.
Question for Sonoma:
Is this the path where audio is being recorded prior to save out Rifftracker Song file?
Please fix this Sonoma.
