Will Sonoma Wireworks put in a fade in/ fade out feature in Riffworks one of these days?

I hope so......I use Audacity for that right now......but it is something minor that would really help. Now if we could just convert finished tunes to MP3 as well i think it would be perfect!

I've tried to draw it in on the sound levels in the info box, but it sounds kinda jerky.
Check out some of my Tunes on My Space and send me a friend request.

The simplest way to fade in/out inside RW is to finalise your song in the 'songline' then 'MixtoRiff'.
In that riff, you should be able to hit the 'Info' button on the layer and, as Jamie says, draw a diagonal line with your mouse along the signal output from high down to a low point.
The easiest way (and best IMHO) is to use Audacity where it's all done automatically at the click of a button.
Cheers!

I agree, the mix to riff technique, works it is easier and smoother to use Audacity. RW needs an automated fade function.

Maybe not just a single click.....but you basically highlight the tail end of the song and select fade out from the drop down menu under effect.

I normally highlight the last 15 seconds of the song and then fade it (as Shred points out) three times. I find that a single 'fade' doesn't take the audio out right at the end.
Cheers!
