Has anyone seen this for sale on Musicians Friends "Stupid Deal of the Day?"

IK Multimedia AmpliTube Live (Amp Modelers)

Anyone know if this is compatible with Riffworks Line6 Edition or would that be Gearbox or Guitarport?

Hi Mudd,

Amplitube Live will not work with the Line6 edition. Amplitube 2 Live however does come with the Standard addition. It's a lite version of the full blown Amplitube 2.

Here's the link to the crossgrade page if you're interested. With the standard version you could continue to use GearBox/Guitarport and a plug in amp modeler.

just an fyi, the reason that Amplitube won't work with the Line 6 version is that it's a VST plugin, which the Line 6 version does not support, but Riffworks Standard does. I crossgraded to the Standard version just so I could use VSTs, there's a whole world of free VSTs out there - some good, some not so good. It's fun to audition them though.
