Curious if anyone else has this problem. I can work on a riff, make a song out of it, do the mixing into a .wav file to save and all that works. Problem is sometimes after that the program freezes and I have to end task to shut it down. When I start it back up everything works but it has no sound. I have to reboot my machine to get the sound back. Anyone else come across this, know a fix etc?

If have to exit RW via task manager I usually have to unplug/re-plug the usb cable before I restart RW otherwise the asio device is missing. Running Vista on this machine by the way.

Yup a quick unplug/replug of the old USB (on Line 6 Devices) while RW's is off does the trick on both XP and Vista....I have both....but my main recording machine (my PC) has XP Pro.I'm using Line 6 Toneport UX II

ooooooooooo, i have to try that. i was reinstalling usb each time.

also, when i freeze, i sometimes get it back by shutting gear box and then opening it again. that works when everything else in rw works cept playback. i have vista too.

i think gearbox is my main trouble.

Hey Ed, I did this and then it clagged out. I played it twice !!!

I only got it back yesterday, it needed a complete new electronics guts in it. Maybe it didn't like the way I played it
