In my Line6 monkey it says Riffworks2 Line6 Edition. Is this the same as V2 from you guys? Also, I don't have the "Amplitube Live in my version ( I don't think )?

If you bought the Line 6 version you don't get Amplitube (it's a lite version, not the full blown Amplitube), you'll have to crossgrade to Riffworks std to get it, well worth doing and only costs $29 now, I think.

You have to get the crossgrade from Sonoma, not Line6. Go to the home page, it'll lead you to the crossgrade instructions. When you've sorted you have to download from the store page in the same fashion as downloading instant drummers.

The Line6 version 2 is different from the Standard version 2 in a couple ways. The Line6 version is tied to the Line6 hardware (i.e. GuitarPort) for authentication, and does not have the "Amp" tab in the hardware effects to enable an amp VST, nor the extra Amplitube Live 2 that comes with the Standard Version.

The Standard version will work with most ASIO hardware (including the Line6 modelers, but also things like Stealthplug, JamLab, Mbox, etc.) but not the other way around. It also comes with the Sonoma gang for direct support! :D

To find the exact version you have, you can click on the "RW" logo in the upper right corner of RiffWorks, and it will display the credits and version where the layers normally go.

The Line6 Edition is different from RiffWorks Standard (supplied directly by Sonoma Wireworks). Amplitube comes with the 'Standard' version but not with the Line6 edition.
The Line6 version only works with Line6 devices (like GuitarPort and Toneport) whereas 'Standard' is able to operate with Line6 plus devices from many other companies.
Cheers!

LMAO> Yeah no kidding, funny!

Seriously, again thanks guys your always a big help and always willing to share your thoughts, ideas, and expertise.

I just sent my info (key, screen shot, etc...) to Sonoma seeing if I get the BIG discount for that. I hope it will give me more ideas and tools to use, or can I get it now for $29 bucks?

This day and age with it's technology amazes me. Two answers from across the country and one from the other side of the world, and all within 90 seconds of each other. I'll have to make a song about that. lol
