Hi, anyone having latency issues using any of these VST programs?
I seem to be...
Although I can get it working by turning down the ASIO buffer size, it seems to create other problems such as getting "crackling" type sounds once in awhile.

The less buffer size, the less latency...but the more CPU you will eat up. At some point you eat up too much and you'll get popping and cracking. It will depend on your computer how far you can go! On mine I don't notice it though.

I don't use Amplitube just for that reason......GB & GP function with no problems. But I have never been able to get Amplitube to work without latency issues.

Yeah I seem to be right on the edge with Amplitube, but GB & GP work with no problems.

GearBox and GuitarPort do something called "direct tone" where they feed the tone back to you directly instead of having it go through all the computer latency. It's a cool trick to be sure and gets around the buffer that a software plugin has to go through.
