I'm big on using the best tool for the job. RiffWorks is without question my go-to program for writing songs. Mackie Tracktion is my go-to tool for MIDI, vocals, mixing and mastering. It's good that there are many programs with demo's out there to try, as we all work differently! Any of them will get the job done and there's nothing wrong with using more than one if it makes the workflow better.
