Not that I know of. I know the development team is in the middle of a big project right now.

This is a nasty little bug, so it's on the top of the list of annoyances right now. It's affecting less than five of our users that we know of though, and it's not something we've been able to reproduce in-house yet. Not being able to see it happen here makes it difficult to fix, but I know we'll get it nailed down as soon as the other project is finished.

We appreciate your patience,
Randy

Ohhh... hope this things gets fixed soon.

I won't be able to access this computer with riifworks installe from 27 March 08 until roughly 27 April 08 for I will be shipping this PC over to the states since I will be immigrating over. (Time to play "The immigrant song" Ahhhahhhahhhh....Ahhh! LOL!

I guess by the time I boot up this PC my riffworks is already a dud, what shall I do if this happens?

Appreciate any feedback and hoping by that time its already nailed. (crossing fingers) Hopefully this spares me with all the waiting time I need to do since I don't have access to this computer anyway.

Heres my PC config (Maybe this will help in recreating the bug)

DELL XPS 420
Intel® Core™2 Quad Processor Q6600
Windows Vista® Home Premium
2GB DDR2 SDRAM
500GB HDD

256MB ATI HD 2600 XT - RV630
Integrated Sound Blaster® Audigy® software (relies on CPU)
2Wire 2700HG ADSL2+ broadband router (10mbps connection)

Line6 gear:

olineil,
I didn't get a response from you when I emailed.
I have another fix to try.
Sounds like there are a few more days before you move.
Let me know.

cheers,

Bump! Any further developments? Guys? DaveNZ?

I have a question... I have a laptop with me right now, I have installed the demo into it and it is working properly. I was wondering If I can install the full version on to it first and activate it there. Then once my Dell Desktop arrives, transfer over the activation and uninstall it from the laptop. Am I allowed to do that? What do I need to do to go about this process?

And oh, can I keep the activation in my laptop until we find a fix for it to work in my desktop?

hi olineil,
i can say that you are allowed to put the program on 3? computers. i know you can load a mac and a pc. you don't have to uninstall if you don't want to.
i haven't actually done that but you might have to activate from each computer so they can keep track.
some people here use the laptop as a mobile studio.

as to the original problem, sorry i can't help you there.

The bug may have been fixed, and the next release could resolve it for you. Just have to be patient and hold out for a little longer.

Cheers.

Dave.
