I think the worst thing that can happen to you in NZ is to be trampled by sheep or thrown off a very high bridge with just a bit of elastic round your ankles!

Well spoken Scott. Mind you, real men here don't need the elastic, we just jump off bridges for the fun of it.

But, sadly Beau, yes, all those things are Australian, which is a whole other country.

New Zealand has it's own list of things, and, um, well, give me a minute and I'm sure I can think of something.

Dave.

I'm showing my lack of education I in Geography at least! I always thought that NZ was an island just off Australia. But yeah, when I look at it on the map now, there's quite a bit of distance between the two.

And I wouldn't mind being grouped in with Canadians. It's the only other country I've ever visited, and the people there were great. Just don't put me there in the Winter.

I'm in Loganville GA. We're hoping to get a few flakes of snow today, but you're probably in better position to get some of it tonight. If I knew for sure it was gonna snow up there, I'd probably be headed to Helen with the family right about now.

Wow you live in Loganville? Do you know Steve?? :P

Funny you mentioned Helen, I live in Cleveland. I've got a light dusting of snow on the ground now, we're scheduled for an inch or better.

Yup, we're dusted. It came DOWN buddy! If it would have stayed below freezing all day today, we'd have a half inch outside right now. It's still coming down though not as hard as it was half hour ago. Ellijay has apparently got about 1 1/2 inches on the ground already.

No, I don't think I know Steve. I come and go through the forums really. I've just been paying very close attention cause I can't wait to see what's comin up! Is there another rifflinker in Loganville?

Actually I just invented "Steve" as a poor attempt at humor. It's coming down pretty hard here - I'd guesstimate visibility to be about 50 yards give or take.

Like you I'm excited to see what the Sonoma folks have in store. Does this update mean that Rifflink is coming out of beta? Anyone heard any rumors on when the updates will be complete and what kind of goodies we can expect?

Here's the december news from the sonoma site:

In early 2008 there will be a free RiffWorks update that brings RiffLink out of beta, plus a vibrant social networking site for online music collaboration and song sharing. Look forward to major online jamming improvements and a free level of participation for all RiffWorks users! Have a music-filled holiday season!

----------------

So yeah, it looks like it's coming out of beta. Hopefully, we will see some improvements on rifflink. To me, if we get to hear everyone's drums, we'll be all set! But I get the feeling (with the secrecy and all) that we're in for more than just being able to hear everyones drums.....

THE SUSPENSE IS KILLING ME!
