All valid points. With Waves plugins, they use a different format that might be proprietary. It shows up in the list under RiffWorks but doesn't launch.

In a past life, er job, I remember having to make a very specific hack to support the Waves plugins. So I know I can fix that one. I'll get a copy from them tomorrow.

thanks,

I can run GR3 in Riffworks, using OS X 10.4.10 on a MacBook.

Previously, using earlier versions of GR2, I too got the bad sound glitching and GR2 was not usable inside Riffworks. Later, I was able to do some work around I'd heard about in the NI GR forum, about deleing some GR-related file (have forgotten now, but no longer necessary). Sometimes, even with this workaround, it would start squaking an hour or so into a session. Lastly, with regard to GR2, I seem to recall that there was a later version that worked OK with Riffworks, and this update came out just before GR3 came out.

But, all has been fine with GR 3 (fingers crossed). I still cringe when I open it up, from being trained from the repeated times before (when it would squawk horribly when being instantiated).

So, any other Mac users having any similar experiences with GR2 and GR3 with Riffworks?
