Any Riffworks users prowling here use one of these bad boys? They look pretty good, but you never know until someone who has one gives you the skinny on it.

I have one also, I have not converted to Sonoma's version of RW, so I'm not using the black box at the moment. I would think its going to require a universal ASIO though.

My impressions of it, it seemed to have good amp modeling of what it was trying to sim. I really need to play with it more to gain greater benefits out of the box. To me, its not as easy to edit tones on the hardware as it is with my Line 6 software. The arpeggiator or whatever that effect is gets annoying and I seemed to recall having a more difficult time trying to dial in just a straight ole guitar sound as all the presets seemed effect laden. I have not used it in months.

No ASIO4All required. It says right on the product info page that ASIO drivers are included.

well, that would make sense being its M-audio and all. Good that you checked or you knew and thanks for that..it'll be one less headache as I do intend on using it eventually in RW. That would mean I can use it now doesn't it? Even though I'm not converted to Sonoma crossgrade, if the device has a dedicated ASIO I should be able to use it in the non crossgrade L6 version of RW?

Yep, it should work just fine with RiffWorks Standard. :)
