Hi everyone. Got it up and running now thank to Mickey, but the input volume is very low and the meters hardly move even with the input gain set fully up and the gain on the Riffworks monitor fully up. Gearbox volume is still ok though. Must be something really simple, but what?

First thought would be...on the bottom of Amplitube, there's little knobs for both the input and output levels. If that's not it, let us know! You should get more than enough volume out of it and into RiffWorks.

Cheers,

What ASIO device are you using? - GuitarPort, TonePort, StealthPlug etc.
Cheers!

Hi Scott, it's guitarport. All the levels are ok with Gearbox..

Ok, just noticed something weird. If I open up Gearbox the same time as Amplitube my levels are ok...

Do I have to have gearbox running to use amplituibe?

No. You need to disable the 'Hardware' button to avoid the audio signal being routed through both amp modellers.
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but is the big volume knob on your GuitarPort turned all the way to the right?
Cheers!

No its not stupid and it's not all the way either. That's because the I'm using the GP as my sound card, so if I turn it all the way up all my output levels are way too high. Am I missing something simple here.

I already like the sound of amplitube though... More natural than gearbox...

... or both somewhere in the middle. Whatever gets the cleanest signal at the best level. Just play about by changing things. The crew here are always willing to give you an opinion to help you.

If you already own RiffWorks, then you don't have to pay the full price to crossgrade:
