HELP! RiffWorks isn't loading any of my songs!

Hey, I have a bit of a problem. It all started with this:

Our computer has been slow and very messed up lately, so I put all of the important stuff (like RiffWorks songs lol) on USB Flash Drive cards and then completely removed everything from the computer to start fresh. So, I did that and the computer is better than before. I reinstalled RiffWorks and GuitarPort and all, and they seem to work fine. And I plugged in the USB Flash Drive card to upload all the saved files. That also went smoothly.

But when I opened RiffWorks and then tried to open one of my songs, there was an error message stating "Invalid File" or something similar. I really don't want to lose all that hard work (I had over 20 complete songs and even more unfinished songs/riffs, that would be a bummer to lose it all!) I know the files are still intact, so technically I didn't "lose" them, but it kinda defeats the purpose if I can't even open them!

So PLEASE help ASAP. I have some songs I need to finish soon, and I promised my friend that we'd record songs for a side project we're doing. I'm not doing this all for my friend, but he's been getting unpatient lately.

That's a hard one to guess on. A couple questions...Are you able to read any of the songs? Can you record and save a new song and it loads fine?

I've heard rumor before that yanking a USB drive without doing the proper eject can ruin the files, but of course I do this all the time and it's never happened to me.

I'll send you an email with an upload link to my site. If you want to, send me a song just to see whether it's the computer or the files. Then hopefully that will start to narrow down where the problem might be.
