I hate this guys....you gonna think I'm a 'moaning old minnie' ....but just dropped into sandmans rifflink test shot and he was using 'bare bones' which is a set I have, but I couldn't hear anything......

Is this an bug in the system, or how things are meant to be....?

Does he (or you) have it renamed differently than the other?

Once upon a time some browser was renaming the drums with a [1] appended, or others were renaming them for organizational reasons. That would be my first guess.

Rick Andrews STILL has his drums named thusly starting with the dreaded [1] and Old Wild Bill had never heard of it or the drums in his headphones!

On saving the IDs, anyone can call them anything so it may not just be the [1] thing. Some folk had them named according to bpm.
Sonoma were looking at the possibility of the auto-installer forcing the drums to be named to a common standard and possibly even searching out those on a computer which didn't meet the naming convention and changing them.
Cheers!

I had them named with the BPM when RiffLink 1st started out.................it made it easier to pick a drummer for my OWN songs....back in the day.............but when it started to cause problems in Rifflink......I tryed to change them (names) and eventually did...........trial and error....
