Private collab - how do you invite??

Is it "user name" followed by a semi-colon or a comma?... or is it e-mail address?
Some form of table lookup would be useful beside the list of invitees instead of having to change to the members tab, search for each one and flip back and forward until you've got your invitee list. Like the login just now, the search takes forever.
... and when are invitees going to know they've been asked? Has that been sorted out yet?

According to Robby, he put all his invites in on a separate line ( by pressing return/enter key I guess)

The invites then show up under Chat, My Invites, in Rifflink.


This will enable you to stop 2 loonies hijacking

...and if they don't check their 'Invites' they'll never see it.

User names, case sensitive. If they don't look at their invites, don't invite 'em any more :rolleyes:

Scott ............put ALL RiffLink user names .....case sensitive on separate lines and that will work Scotty. Robby had names with caps in wrong places and I wasn't getting my invite...........when he changed it correctly it showed up silmultaneously..........we were on the phone hashing that one out the other night because he was wondering why no one came to play on his invite only tune.
Poor Robby .........thru a party and no one showed up!

As Bill said, invites are case sensitive usernames.
The collab will show up in the My Invites list inside RiffWorks.
They will also show up on your profile soon too.
We will add automatic invitation emails eventually.

Sounds like you've got that one in hand Dug!

Use "Enter/Return" between names for now.
Commas is supposed to work also, but it's on Dan's fix it list.
And yes, eventually, we will have a handy click on people you've jammed with before list so you don't have to let go of your guitar to type.
