Hey!
Had a little time to spare and wanted to fire up RiffWorks on my mac. I was prompted that theres was an update ready for download - so I downloaded and installed - but after doing so the RW icon changed to a generic one and I couldn't launch the application anymore... s... What's going wrong here?

Please help!

Hi Maxe,

We've had a couple of reports of this now. It seems there is a permissions issue preventing the updater from working on some machines. Please reinstall from the store download. We're working on it.

cheers,

We've found a machine here where we have replicated the problem (Michelle's). I'm glad we've tracked this down before we released the Line 6 Edition mac updater too. I've turned off the update notice for macs for the time being. We'll turn it back on once we figure out the work around and get a fixed updater posted.

cheers,

Today I updated my the Line 6 monkey, Gearbox and drivers. Everything installed just fine without any problems. I have moved off the pc platofrom and am now running on a mac v10.5.1. Thanks for the headsup on the Line6 riffworks edition. What about the standard version? I have read that I could crossgrade for $29?

Thanks
David

Neither RW Standard or Line 6 Edition 2.1.1 updates for Mac are ready yet because of the installation prob. we're workin on it. Sorry for the delay.
