Been using Riffworks for a couple of weeks now and love it but having problems getting Amplitube 2 Luve to work in conjunction with Riffworks.

At http://www.sonomawireworks.com/guide/index.php/Create_a_Song
it says:

Step 2: Select an Amp
Click on AMP and set up a great guitar tone. AmpliTube 2 Live will pop up when you're using RiffWorks Standard and give you up to 15 guitar and bass amp combinations plus 10 effects to create a great guitar tone.

The problem is that it doesn't pop up. When I manually load it it makes no difference to my guitar. I really want to be able to use Ampliube. Has anyone else expereinced problems? Any advice would be hugely appreciated!

I'm sure you'll get a definitve reply soon mate but as far as I understand it, when you click on amp in RW and the dropdown appears you have to make sure it's pointed at the correct folder to load Amplitube as a plugin in by clicking on "Set plugin path", be worth checking that out in the meantime.

Hope this helps a bit.

yeah...got me at first as well. Wht you need to do is this..

1. Bottom Riff works window i the monitor section deslect hardware.
2. Click on effect in that same monitor panel.
3. Amp should come up as an option. Select Amplitube 2 live

I don't think you can access it as a stand alone program. Has to be done in Riffworks. Also, depending on your set up don't have gearbox running at the same time. Although I do sometimes to use some of the gearbox preamps..

Hope this works..

Hi mattymichaels,

I added a more prominent link to the AmpliTube Installation guide:
http://www.sonomawireworks.com/guide/index.php/AmpliTube_2_Live

in the "How to Create a Song" guide
