Put all your drummers in one folder, then just double click on each drummer. It should self install. It works with Riffworks open or closed.

If it's the Instant Drummers, they should install here->
C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataSonoma Wire Worksdrummers
if that's the same on Vista as it is on XP.
Cheers!

FYI Vista has dropped the Domuments and Settings malarky and just has

c:UsersUsernameappdatalocal (or roaming)

Appdata is a hidden folder

Hmmmm... I hope we didn't break drummer installing with the 2801 update. We'll test it here. Anyone else have success or problems since updating?

The path the others gave is correct.

cheers,

Just tested with Vista on 2801 and it's working as expected. Sometimes Windows file associations get messed up. If that happens, you can just install them manually by moving the drummers into this folder on Vista:

Dave.

Right. We're now using C:ProgramDataSonoma Wire Worksdrummers for the drummers.

It actually could be your name. If the login name you purchased the drummers with doesn't match the name you activated RiffWorks with, then the drummers won't work.

If you would, open RiffWorks and click on the "RiffLink" tab. It should say, "Hoodoo". I looked up your login name in our system, and in fact you have three different login names. Why did you do that? :)

Also, did you end up manually moving the downloaded InstantDrummers to C:ProgramDataSonoma Wire Worksdrummers

Hoodoo. sound to me like you have a load of file associations messed up. I'm not an expert and you be best waiting till someone who knows what they are talking about replies, but your best option may be to try and uninstall everything and then reload it all systematically. Trying to sort all the stuff out manully is fine if you really know where everything is located, but if not, the actual locations aren't always that obvious. Most of my drummers for example are located in My Documents/Sonoma/Riffworks/Drummers...
But then so are my songs and riffs...Logic, nah it's computers....
