Dave and I think we might have stumbled across an issue with unicode symbols and RiffLink.
We can disconnect ourselves by typing in the '£' symbol (replicated by us both) and the 'copyright' symbol.

The latter kicked us out but left avatars in place and showed us as 'active' throughout the disconnected period. (reverse 'ninja' syndrome?)
Cheers!

Yep, this is the Reverse Ninja Syndrome, I reckon. People are there who aren't there

Can't easily replicate the Sterling problem this side of the pond, we've only got $'s. Hopefully with the exchange rate the problem should only be about half as bad ;)
No-one remembers what you do or say. Everyone remembers how you made them feel. Allegedly !!!!

Use the Windows character map to try different characters. Click 'Start', 'Run' and type in charmap - hit enter and choose any character you want.

That makes the problem 2.5 times worse for Dave then ... and at 1,936 lira to the UKP, god help you if you're Italian! :O
Cheers!

Nah Dave, I get enough problems here with gators and suchlike already without using Windows Character Map to find yet more problems

I'll leave the Sterling problem to Scotty ;)
