It seems to me that a good way to promote RiffWorks to someone who's never heard of it would be to show them what other people are doing with it. True, Riffcaster does the same thing, I've just got a good bit of experience doing online radio and I think it would be cool. Not only that, you could cover technical issues as well, and have interviews with famous celebrities like Mickey and Bill
With Creative Commons licensing, you wouldn't be forced to give half of your income to BMI and ASCAP like we used to have to, and you could start out using a third party solution like Shoutcast or Live 365 to gauge profit potential before you jump into an investment like your own Windows Media servers.
