Riffworks Radio?

To begin with, there wouldn't be much of a bandwidth issue. If you go with a third party like Live 365 or Shoutcast, you only have to have enough pipe to stream to a central server (normal residential DSL works fine for that), which users then connect to. Financial outlay for this isn't all that much. Of course if things start to take off, you'll want to run your own media servers to have more control. That's when bandwidth becomes an issue.

The biggest issue with online radio is to always have someone available to make sure the feed is running, 24/7. If you try to tune into a station, and for whatever reason the feed isn't working, you probably won't bother trying again.

Hey, all ya gotta do is put a couple radio towers along side the Riffworld logo, put a few charge bolts coming out from it and wallah, Riff-O-WorldRadio. Oh wait a min, someone may have done that logo already. Sarcasm aside though.. it is a great idea.

Man that would be great ..........I'd be at work out in a field listening to a podcast of the casts and Hearing DJ Uncle Bill razzing all of us! Honestly it would be great.. that way i could hear during the day and at night comment . like you all have so graciously for me and then i would still have time to play.. Yep being a Junki i get to raped up in playing rater than listening and giveing feed back!
