I have RW V2 Line 6 Edition. A buddy of mine that has RW V2 Standard Edition says he can punch in and out to fix flubs. Is that just on Standard, or am I missing something in the Line 6 Edition? Thanks!

It wouldn't matter which version you have. Let's say you have a layer you really like except for one lil tiny bit.
Let it be and then just keep "recording/recycling the riff".
Through the "info" drop down button/menu you could then bring up or mix what area(s) of the layers you want to be in the mix/overall riff.

I'll go a step farther, let's say you take about 4 layers in a riff to get that 8 bar count exactly the way you want it. After doing what Camaro suggested with the "info" button. Take that riff and throw it onto the song layer all by itself and mix it down to a single riff. Now you have the riff you want with only one layer.

Possibly it would be helpful for anyone new and even seasoned RW users to have some instruction vid(s) on the finer points of useage or more advanced features for RW.

I did a little video on the punching in and out with the info button but can't figure out where I put it. I'm planning to put together a couple short vids soon...is there any specific topics you folks would like to see in video form?
