Is it possible to use SONAR Home Studio 6 XL as a rewire slave inside riffworks? I noticed on the propellerhead website that it is listed only as a mixer application. I am trying to find a program to record MIDI bass and keys that does not sound cheap, but also not pay a small fortune for a DAW that I will not be using any other features in.
Thanks

After further investigation, I decided to order Project 5 and Dimension Pro. Hopefully these will provide the tools I am seeking and rewire into riffworks.

Hi,
As long as the software you've ordered can act as a ReWire "Slave", then you should be in business. A lot of applications, including RiffWorks, can only act as a ReWire "Master."
Cheers,
