I get this error when trying to record a riff. I record drum track as a layer- its ok.

When I get playback the recorded layer, at the end of the layer, this error occurs and riffworks crashes.

It was working without problems for a couple of days before that.

I am using Guitar Port and Gearbox, Riffworks Line 6 Edition.

All drivers/versions are up to date.

Can anyone help.

Thanks,

Tommy

Hello Tommy and welcome to the RiffWorks forum,

Please contact Support with this issue. E-mail them at support@sonomawireworks.com and attach any dump files generated during the crash, as well as the log file which you'll find at C:...My DocumentsSonoma Wire WorksRiffWorks

The path to the logfile might be different with Vista but the directory to go for isn't the one in the Program files.
Cheers!
Scott

I've gotten several crashes of the same tody, plus a new fatal exception in Rifflink I never seen before. Somethng about communication. I'm also not able to add to layers that clearly are not full in a song Red Baron put up today. Every layer says it is full. I am connected and able to view chat and public works, but it appears I may be in Ninja mode in that tune.

*watching this thread*

I don't know what to say yet, as this is the first I've heard of this specific issue. Hayden probably handled Tommy's support case yesterday, but I'm headed into the support queue now to see what awaits for the day :)

Hey, I will keep that in mind, too, Randy.
