Hello,
I`m having a problem posting songs with Riffcaster. In Riffworks, I used to be able to just click the Riffcast Button, to Riffcast a song, and it worked perfectly.
Now when I click the button to Riffcast a song, in Riffworks, I repeatly get this pop up window that says: "Cannot Connect to Server, Please try again later"(with a little balloon with the letter i inside of it.)
I can login into Rifflink ok, and it says the server is online.
I can see the list of collab songs ok.
Can someone Please help me with this, and tell me what may be the problem???
(I tried posting/riffcasting the song(with oog file) in Riffworld, submited song.waited 45-50 minutes,
and got a 505 proxy error,saying it didn`t work.

I was also having troubles playing back Riffcasted songs posted in Riffworld.
(The songs would play for 1/4 to 1/2 way through, and abruptly end, as if they finished downloading. Then they returned to the beginning of the song, and stopped, ready to start playing the song again from the beginning of it.(will not completely download entire song to listen to for playback.)
I`ve reinstalled Flash Player 9, and Java, to try and fix this but still not working right.
I am using line 6 2nd edition with gearbox, (and also have ran the update2_1 for it.)
still get "Cannot Connect to Server message, please try again later" pop-up window repeatly.
I would appreciate any help with this anyone can offer!
THANK YOU,

Hi TZ, Others have also been having this problem...see the Rifflink forum. I hope Sonoma are working on it, but I can't help you I'm afraid...

I think that only very few RiffWorks users are having the same problem. I've only had one or two other cases come in to support, and the problem typically comes down to an overly cautious firewall and/or security software. If the server itself was actually offline, then we'd be bombarded with complaints.

Hi Randy,
You were Correct, the problem was a Firewall setting on my end. I am now able to RIFFCAST ok, through RIFFWORKS. Wasn`t sure why I was getting the Server Connect Error. THANK YOU for your help with this, I`m glad I got it working again!!!
THANK YOU,
