I really love this software. Using it for RR8 was a blast. I actually saw some new possibilties with it. The only issue I am having is that it will not work with Guitar Rig 3. GR3 sound amazing. I just need for it to work. It works with other DAWs. It is just a shame that it will not work in RW.

Added: GR3 works perfectly in other DAWs. In RW I can bring up the interface but it will not react to any mouse clicks.

Agreed Steve. I love the sounds I was able to get out of the GR3 demo, when it worked. I don't think the fault lies entirely with Sonoma. I found GR3 to be buggy as all get-out - half the time it didn't work at all, the other half performance was spotty. It ate up my system resources to the point of lockup (even though I well exceeded the minimum system requirements on their website, and I had maybe one other app running at the same time, which I think would be a normal scenario), and that's for the plugin as well as the standalone version, I tried them both.

It really is a shame. I use Line 6 now, and I think GuitarRig has them beat hands-down as far as tones are concerned, but if I can't get their software to run on my system, it's not much use at all. I know a lot of other folks here on the forums have had the same experience.

However, there are others who say it works perfectly. Who knows. I just hope they'll come out with a version that's stable, competitive in price to what Line 6 offers, and works with RiffWorks. If they can do that, I'm sold.

I use GR2 with RW and it works good. I have to hit the Save As button to get back to the GR2 interface, but other than that it works fine.

I talked with Native Instruments at NAMM. Their engineers are looking into the problem. They said it is similar to a problem with GuitarRig in Acid they are already looking into. So it sounds like it is in fact on their end. I will continue to follow up with them. Please let their support team know that you're waiting for the fix as the more they hear about the problem from customers the more important it will become to them.

cheers,

I have the same problem with ReValver MkII. GUI comes up but no love on the clicking of things. Hopefully the fix for GR3 will be simple enough to apply to ReValver as well sos I can gets it toos work.
