Actually, I've been having problems for the last few months with this, and I'm sure it's something moronic on my part. Is there something that I have to have installed (quicktime, realplayer, etc) in order to hear the drums in the store? Sometimes I can hear them, other times they load but never play, other times they'll play as long as I keep my cursor over the play button, and maybe move it from time to time. Really weird. Anyone else had these problems?

This happens all over RiffWorld.....not just in the store.....some guys couldn't play certain RR8 tunes in FireFox....but in IE6 it played fine....try a different browser and see if that works...............

Right click on the player button/link (if you are using a PC, or Ctrl click if on Mac) and make sure 'Play' is ticked in the resulting menu. For some stupid reason (reportedly security) some browsers ignore the Flash animation's 'autoplay' command and you need to start it manually. The buttons and player are done using Flash, so this explains a few of the glitches I have at least..

I think it might have something to do with multiple flash players embedded on the same page. I've noticed that when I click on the title of an ID session (or a Riffcast), where you're taken to a page where just that one session (or Riffcast) is embedded, the playback problems no longer exist.
