I've installed Amplitube that came with RiffWorks and it asks me to enter an authorisation code - where do I find this? I've checked my store account and order confirmation email but don't seem to have this.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Steve

Hi, I'll explain to you:

1) Go to www.somomawireworks.com -> Store, then Login with your Sonoma Key (user and password)

2) Once there go to "View/download Software" - There you'll find your downloads for:

Riffworks Standard (MacOS & PC)
Drummers
Amplitube LE
Amplitube Live
And Amplitube Live Serial

The easiest way to check which is the file to download, is by looking at the amount of downloads you've left for downloading (look at the blue ballon with a number from 5 to 0):

5 is the initial amount left, payt attention to those all "5 blue baloons" and one of these must be the Serial/Authorization code.

If you don't see anything (any serial whatsoever), contact Support.

(a copy of this message is sent to your e-mail if you haven't seen this)

Have fun! Upload Songs and share them with everyone.

Thanks Paul,

I can't believe I missed that! With my eyesight, it's a wonder I don't end up strapping my guitar on upside down :)

That makes me feel a whole lot better, I was seriously considering giving it all up and taking Kazoo lessons :)

Nah, the very last week I was ranting coz I couldn't listen to anything that was reproduced either from RW nor from Media Player...

Finally I found out that the problem was that in the Sound Settings/Advanced, the slider was in 0...

Sometimes we're so eager to sit down and play / record that we've got no patience at all to "solve issues".

You gotta give credit on Riffworks on that, they've considered all of us absentminded guitar players, and created a cool software that is as simple as sit, click & play :)

Btw, 2 things:

- You're very welcome, around here you'll see everyone with the same "helping hand" spirit, as well Sonoma's team, they're always around to assist us.

- If you're new to Riffworks, Forums and RiffWorld, be welcome!! Cool thing would be listening to your very first tune riffcasted (if you haven't posted any yet)

All the best,

Paul Evans
