To all my rifflink junkie brothers,
I have just got myself a toneport ux2 and am here at my brothers house trying to turn him on to my old guitarport and am haveing problems registering riffworks for him. I have deactivated everything and got the guitarport and gearbox working fine, he is running windows vista and riffworks line6 edition and every time I click on riffcast to activate, a screen comes up to say that riffworks needs to be registered to riffcast. (duh) Am I missing something?
Anyway thanks in advance for some help here

Hi.

Check the monkey "Optional add ons" Tab, and see if Riffworks 2 is checked (in green), if it's not checked, monkey assumes that it's not activated.

I don't know if you transfered the serial number, sadly I haven't ever done that operation so far, so I dunno what you should without looking at the tutorial in your user account (it says licence keys the place where you see the transfering tutorial.

In the meantime, by using the same monkey, and selecting "riffworks Line 6 version" press the button "activate purchase", well I guess you don't have a serial number to write down there, so try this:

Write "refresh" without the quotes and press the Activate button. You'll see monkey connecting to the server for a while.

Afterwards check again if the field riffworks line6 is checked.

I hope it helps, more than this, I'm not able to help you out coz I'm not quite clear what to do.

All the best, and well, I recommend to create a support ticked here and at line6 or waiting for anyone from Sonoma's Team help you out, or a more connoisseur/expert on that matter.

Paul

Hi Hemoglator2,

Make sure you've followed these Activation and Registration instructions:

http://www.sonomawireworks.com/guide/index.php/RiffWorks_Line_6_Edition

Contact support with the specifics of your problem if you are having trouble with anything.

Thanks,

Michelle, hi and thanks for responding.
I got riffworks to activate but the only drummers that show up are bare bones and matt sorum.
I cant seem to find anywhere to download the others for him. The line6 site shows a link to do so but when I go there they arent there.....?
Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Also thanks for responding mozzarello.

Peace, Bryan.
