Just in case people don't know this. Line6 are currently offering their model packs at half price. this means you can get the triple pack (I just did) for an insane 50 dollars (25 pounds to us Brits)....

Looks like it is only for GuitarPort owners; my email has the price at 99 dollars for the TonePort UX2. Bummer, I would have purchased it at 49. It's a rort that it is cheaper for different hardware since as far as I can tell the packs for all are exactly the same.

It's a great deal....even better given current exchange rates... only one problem....amount of choice now. I have nearly 60 amps to choose from now, and god knows how many effects.....My tiny brain can't handle it...

Dave, that's crazy isn't it? It's basically the same software. I wonder what the deal is here. I'd drop them an email......and complain.....

I thought it a little odd, but maybe it is different. Plus the fact that the GuitarPort is a cheaper unit than the UX2, you'd think the software would be cheaper for the more expensive unit. Oh well, they seem to be having rolling specials all the time - I'll wait and see if my turn comes up.

Where exactly do I go to get the rebate? I wasn't able to find anything about it on Line 6's site, and when I went to add the only model pack that I don't already own to my cart, it still said USD $49.99. Is the rebate applied after checkout?

Normally the model (tri pack) is $99.xx as is the bass pack and the powerpack.
$49.xx is the reduced rate.
The reduction is for the Guitarport, ToneportGX, ToneportKB37, Toneport UX1 only.

You can buy the silver package toneport models from MF...its almost the same as getting a cross section of the three plus some preamps.

Im confused by this too. The mailer says you get 3 model packs for half price, 49 bucks, but there are no links to anyhting on ther line6 site that has the same offer. How do you get it for that price?

and second, if the deal is good for Toneport Ux1, would the models work on a Ux2 as well?

Strange that they did not discount the UX2. Your theory should work fine, but they'll need to be authorized on a GP or UX1 and then transfered to the UX2.

As far as the metal pack goes, its plain awesome, and not just for metal. All of the amps in it can be used with low drive settings too of course, and there are some awesome amps in there. The Bogner, 5150, and Line 6 Big Bottom are well worth the price.

I hope that's not the case, I dont have either. According to the related thread I just posted, it seemed to me some of those guys were just applying the models to a pod or UX2 directly, unless I didnt read it carefully enough.

Im tempted to call line 6 and ask if they just made a little mistake.
