Hello

I currently have RW installed on my C: drive

I have added a secondary drive and would like to install RW on it, instead of running it on the C: drive.

Please advise how to reinstall RW (do I have to download it again?) and how to migrate the song and settin gfiles to the new drive

thank you
...it's all so horribly awesome...

Hello,

You can certainly try installing RiffWorks on a secondary drive, but this hasn't been tested and may cause some trouble. If you still want to do this, you definitely need to uninstall everything and start installation again from scratch.

If you want, you can just change the location of your scratch folder. Click "Audio Setup," then "Select Record Path," then make sure to click on an existing folder prior to typing in a new location.

Hope that helps,

I agree with Garrett on this one, install the main proggy to C and specify the D drive and folder to save songs. Works nicely and that way your songs are tucked safely away on a non O/S drive.
