If a chicken ate 7 cwt of sawdust in 3 days, how long would it take it to lay a plank 2" x 4" x 14 ft long ????? My dad suggested it would take the same amount of time as sandpapering an elephant down to a greyhound but I think he was kidding me  Any idea ?????

Trick question! I can't solve that without knowing the volume of the chicken's stomach.

Pooter is that the rule about running nekkid down main street, or the beer thing. I won't be falling for that main street thing again I can tell you....

Welcome Garrett; don't let these guys fool you, they really are nuts. But, they are all incredible musos so your chops had better be pretty secure if you don't want to end up feeling intimidated.

My question is this: how come there are signs on shop doors stating 'Guide Dogs are Welcome Here'. I mean, who's going to read that, the dog?

Dave.

I'm alright with being intimidated for a while. I've taken a long break from guitar in order to build one myself and am only now honing my skills again.

Do the signs have braille on them?

Only dog braille, but nice try. I like your ability to think laterally - this will stand you in good stead for a support role. The guys at Sonoma obviously chose well.

Good luck with the job, and as for building your own guitar I am a hobbyist Luthier, having made countless solid-body electrics, a dozen hollow-body and solid-body acoustic/electric mandolins, including a Flying V electric mandolin for a folk-metal(!!) band, and three semi-acoustics (similar to a Gretsch design).

I make the necks and all the custom bridge hardware as well; no cheating and just buying components and assembling them. I don't make the machine heads or pickups though, they is beyond my engineering skill set at the moment.

What is yours? You have snaps we can see?

Dave.

Of course the signs have braille on them, it's so the blind dogs can pick up the shopping after they've been through the drive thru ATM.
