I like my new member status, 'beer buying not quite so new member' - that must be Scott...:)

I think ultra low latency is down to CPU grunt more than memory Colin, as I have boatloads of RAM and still get crackling when I try the lowest possible settings. I admit though my cpu is pretty lame now compared to when I put it in 18 months ago - still it does the job and what latency I do get is not audible, even through Amplitube (which I don't use much as I like Gearbox's sounds better).

The version of Amplitube that comes with RW is so limited I find it useless......in addition even on my higher end PC it still runs poorly, or at least not as well as GearBox does. Line 6's driver architecture and structure allows zero latency, my understanding is that even with a Stealthplug the latency issues exist with Amplitube.

I completely agree with the other posts....the latency is due to the CPU and you may be able to fiddle with the driver settings to fix it.
