Hey everyone, I was just wondering if anyone could help ona subject

How would I record vocals with my microphone? I have a Mic and the cord has a jack (just like a guitar cable jack). I have no idea how to plug her in.

Give one of these a try ......you can also get them at Radio Shack if need be...............just make sure you get a transformer NOT a converter.........they both work but the Transformer sounds better...........

Or if your mike has a 1/4 inch (like a guitar jack) just plug into and use a vocal pre set , assuming your using GearBox.

Thankyou very Much! I may be able to grab me a Tansformer, would I then just plug into my microphone jack in my soundcard??

Im sorry to bother you further, but what is GearBox?? =]

GearBox works with Line 6 devices ex: TonePort / GuitarPort

I gotta run to work now so maybe some one else can find out what your guitar recording ASIO device is and so forth ..........your soundcard MAY work if it has ASIO drivers compatible with RiffWorks.
