Recording just guitar loops

Is there a way to record a guitar loop in Riffworks, using the drum as a rithim guide, but then get rid of the drums and just keep the guitar part? Or is the guitar part always congenitally joined to the "Instant Drummer" ?

Just untick the instant drummer box in the backups tab after you have recorded the gtr and the drums will stop.
