i want to use a animated avatar.
witch extension wil work, i tried animated gif didn't work !!

I dont think animated avatars are supported at this stage. It's a great idea for an addition though. I'm not sure it's possible, but I will check it out.

i did see 2, do not know the names anymore sadly, but when you klick those they still
have the gif extetion, myn changes into a gif picture and get another name!!

The hassle of using an animated gif is that, if you edit them without the proper software, you'll end up with a static image. I've changed my avatar to show you it can be done. I used 'GifWorks'.
It's a good on-line editor -> http://www.gifworks.com/image_editor.html
and it's free!

I love making them too. Though someone made this one for me. One of the best programs for making them is Animation Shop 3. You can edit any tiny detail even the timing of each frame, and make all kinds of cool visual effects and transitions. Getting them to a small file size is always the challenge though.

that was for me the biggest problem, i realy would like a some more kilbits for the avatar, and it would be nice that it would work in other member pages and so

I hate to be a parade-rainer, but animated elements on a page just distract me, so I filter them out. I'm sure your avatars are very nice though..
