Can you provide me with some more details? What OS are you running? Is this an upgrade? What other versions of Riffworks do you have installed?

What is happening when you try to run Riffworks version 2?

Cheers,

Aj

Here are the generic activation instructions Sonoma sends out:

Activation is a two part process. You need to first activate RiffWorks using the Line 6 Monkey. Once you've used the Monkey to activate, you'll need to activate/register with us to be able to use the drummers, RiffCast, etc.

1. Click on Start -> All Programs -> Line 6 -> Tools -> Line 6 Monkey
2. After launching the Monkey, click on the UPDATES tab
3. There will be a warning symbol next to any item that needs updating. Make sure you update all marked items
4. To activate RiffWorks, click the OPTIONAL ADD-ONS tab, click RiffWorks and type in your key when prompted. If you don't have your key handy, go to www.line6.com and sign in using your Line 6 login information. Once logged in, click on "My Account" and then choose the "License Keys" link on the left. Use this key in the Monkey to activate RiffWorks with Line 6 using the steps above.

Now you can activate RiffWorks with Sonoma Wire Works:

1. Open RiffWorks
2. Click the RiffCast button
3. Type in your SonomaKey login name and password. If you do not yet have a SonomaKey login name and password, you'll need to create a new one one clicking the "Register" button found on the same window. After creating a name, please return to the login prompt and enter your newly created login information.

That's it! If you've forgotten your SonomaKey login information, then you can have it emailed to you using the password retrieval form at https://www.sonomawireworks.com/store/index.php?main_page=password_forgotten
Cheers!

Hmmm... unfortunately, I have had that happen before too. majorly sucks. Which drum pack are we talking about here? Whats happening, are they not showing up at all or are they frying riffworks when you try to use said drumpack?

You may want to go to C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataSonoma Wire Works, then erase the srummer thats causing problems. Redownload a new copy and try installing that. It may have become corrupted somehow.

If that doesnt work I suspect you will have to uninstall & reinstall the whole works, first Riffworks 2, then drummers. It's a bummer I know, but thats what I had to do.

LEmme know if that helps
