Well Rich, sort of. I have the limited version that came with another program, and it rewires quite nicely with RiffWorks. But, whatever beat you pick, you have to use that for the whole song, there's no segmenting like one can do in Reason.

Sorry to hijack this, BUT, can we all get a group buy on some massive amount of beer somewhere, so we can really save some dough?

Go to http://esoundz.com/details.php?ProductID=1995) to subscribe.

You have to register beforehand to the website.

It's straightforward. You don't have much time, though....

Looks like a good bargain, it's my first group buy, I hope it works well. But I have no doubts as there have been many such group buys and the Drumcore perfectly fits RW.

As far as the beer goes, it's still cheap compared to where the wheat and other commodity futures are...

So, making more "dough" would require abstinence from consumption in substitute for future profit or consumption...

Which, I suppose would greatly hurt our (not only yours) productivity with the excellent Riffworks.

Which would make Michelle sad, and none of us wants that!!!

Cheers,

Well, I took a chance and went for it! Let's see what happens :)

BTW, do you know if this can work with electronic drums such as the Roland TD-9?? I was considering getting these to use with this software: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Roland-TD9SX-Electronic-Drum-Set?sku=491359

Thanks for the tip! I needed more software like a hole in my head but I wasn't able to resist this one!!

Last chance!! The price has been extended. You have until Monday at 5pm to get the deal if you're interested. From the KVR forum...

"The group buy product will still be purchasable only until the end of the day Monday (at 6pm EST). If you need more time than that you CAN make arrangements with Allen but those arrangements MUST be made BEFORE Tuesday so they can be reserved. Otherwise... that's it! Deal gone forever! Get in while you can. It's too good to pass up and there's lots of goodies in here."

Well, I placed an order and I referred Rich as I figured out his forum name. I would have referred Garchev if I had known his as well.

I'm a little confused and had some trepidation going into this as the checkout does show all the add-ons as additional purchases for additional prices. Also it says the offer IS closed and capped at 321? I was able to create an account, logon and checkout on the group buy for 99.00 + 10 shipping...so,.. I'm hoping I'm getting more than just drumcore 2.5, but am also receiving all the extras as well for 99.00..

Wow, thanks for the referral Tom!! Many thanks to Garchev for this one!!!! I'm not sure how well DrumCore is going to work with RiffWorks using ReWire but it's a great program by itself and can export REX files to use as loops.

Anyway, about the extras....someone else asked about this too and it was clarified that since the group buy is closed you won't see the numbers (321) of participants change. However the price was extended. The group buy should definitely include the extras (crossing fingers). Here's the post from "Squids" (the guy who started this Group Buy and works for Sonic Reality):

"Squids wrote:
Last call on this puppy. It closes by the end of the day Monday and this is even a mini extension. It should have closed today. So there's still a chance for people to get it and I think now that it is the lowest price of $99 (plus extras) it may be something a lot of DrumCore users may want to get in on."
