We'll very likely have an update next week, though I can't make any promises. This update mostly addresses RiffLink *stuff*.

Is it next week yet ???

A big sign on the side of a pub I used to drive by quite often in UK said :-

"Free Beer Tomorrow Night"

Is it that kind of scenario maybe ?

You're runnin' out of week Randy, I reckon we're half way through next week already  ;)

We're getting very close. Remember, we're having to make the new release work for RiffWorks Standard for the PC and MacOS, and for the Line 6 Edition on both operating systems. We're also making an updated demo too. Hang tight. :)

I'm a bit disappointed since the last two or three updates where focus mainly on rifflink and/or riffcast. I have the feeling that you Sonoma is putting all the effort in those features, and not so much in the program itself.

I guess you guys in Sonoma decided to prioritize the collaborative aspects of RW, but it would be nice to see some changes and new functions in RW as well.

Hi Juan,

We're a very small company, so we only have the development resources to work on one feature at a time. Right now we're focusing on RiffLink and RiffWorld, and until they're working really smoothly, we're not going to focus on much else. I hope you understand and will bare with us while we strive to get that accomplished. We're doing something that's new, so there's no manual or example to follow. I'm sure you can see how that makes it more challenging then it would be otherwise.

The current batch of updates are mostly bug patches and not feature updates. We typically only release new features with new versions of RiffWorks. IE, RiffWorks Standard has a ton of features that RiffWorks V1 doesn't have. It doesn't mean that we won't occasionally sneak new features in with normal bug patches, but it's certainly not the norm.

Cheers,
Randy
