The RiffWorks update is taking longer than expected due to a development server issue that should be resolved soon. Sorry for the delay.

Cheers,
Michelle

Did the update come out yet? I don't get any notice of it when I open RiffWorks. I'm using the latest version on a MacBook OS 10.4.11. Thanks.

Here's what you might see posted on a Line 6 forum about software updates...

"If I don't get my update NOW, I'm gonna sell all my stuff and never play again! Then I'm gonna tell all my friends never to buy your stuff and make them quit too!!! I'm going back to bed where I will cry about it for the next 2 weeks... GIMME THE UPDATE!!! GIMME, GIMME, GIMME!!!"

Of course that is an exaggeration.

But seriously, what's the skinny with the update? Will it work with a Digitech GNX300 or a Soundblaster Audigy 2ZS after the update?

We're working on getting the update out today. Hang tight! I've always thought it was better to release updates later than anticipated vs. early and broken. The team has been working only on getting the update ready for the past few months. Remember, there are four different versions of RiffWorks (Standard and L6 Editions for Windows and then again for Mac OS) and then a whole lot of server work that goes along with it. We're also working on a new demo and registration system. That's a lot of work for two programmers and one graphics guy. :)

I myself would much rather wait and have something that's stable. We're all anxiously awaiting the update, I think Sonoma knows that :) And I'm pretty sure they'll send it out the door as soon as it's ready. Patience, bitches! :P

Easy now Randy, people will start to think I work for Sonoma. Which would be fine - but I don't think y'all can afford the astronomical salary that I require :P

I thought hillbilly squids worked for lawn furniture. What's this about needing a salary!?

well 'salary' can mean anything - lawn furniture and whatnot is nice, but I can be tempted with hats, corn likker, firearms of any type, and Ground Hawg tires for my pick-em-up truck.

Just drop those Line 6 and Mac users and force them to cross on over to the dark side....don't worry, I'm only serious ;)

I'm pretty sure firearms are banned here...
