I have Updated intelliriffer to version 2 Beta and added few More features and Major Fixes

Download : From Vettaville.nl Thanks to Hans for hosting. or Media Fire

Beta 2.0.1 is Up Again with minor Bug Fixes. If you have downloaded previous beta, please update it.

What's New :

1. Better Riff Handling/Compatibility (Major Fixes as previous version was based on RW Line 6 Edition)

2. Time Signature Support : Intelliriffer v2 Can Load and Create Riffs from 1/2 to 16/16 Meters and any simple or compound Meter in-between.

3. Riff Splitter : Here is in Short what it does. you can take any RW RIFF (even with multiple layers), load in intelliriffer ,from Tools Choose Riff Splitter.
set your options in marker region and hit process and it will split your riff into multiple smaller riffs of your desired length in bars (minimum 1 bar).
Each Splitted riff will have your layers /takes independent as in source riff retaining any effects pan settings/backups etc.
(only the volume envelopes , the thing you draw using info button in RW will be Removed from Splitted Riffs).

Usages:
1. To Add fills or drummer variation (useful with some ID's) to a bar of a riff.
2 .You Can also Record your Take in 1 long riff and split it later if need arises.
3. Import a multi layer Backing track (separate synth , vocals and all you need) in RW (Split up at Sample Accurate Level.)

Hope you all find it useful.

Plesse Post any bugs or issues you find in this beta in this forum thread or email. I'll try to fix them as time permits.

Thx,
Amit

Me too - I was very happy with v1.0, and now there´s an improved version already? Amazing! - This Riff Splitter thing: does it replace the WaveChunker?

Wavechunker is Sort of a universal tool for Splitting wave files.

The RiffSplitter is a Part of intelliriffer. but it splits up Riffs Recorded in RW or created by you from intelliriffer.
The Power of Riff splitter is that Multi layer riffs can be splitted.
Riff Splitter Outputs Riffs instead of wav files as in wav Chunker.
Also It is a Visual Splitter, you click on bar end marker to set split points.

So the riff splitting, can someone give an example of what this functionality enables? Not sure I get it... :)

Riff Splitting means creating multiple shorter riffs from a longer riff.

Like you recorded a 16 bar take and now want to break it into 2 separate riffs (8 bars each ) or 8 riffs (2 bar each) (15,1) (8,7,1) or any combination you deem necessary.

That's cool! And can you port those riffs into another riffworks project, or just within that project?
