I had to resinstall my ASIO's, but likely because I had recently installed reaper with rearoute...but my ASIO was setup before the update and required my installing ASIO4ALL on that PC before I could get anything to work again. All my drivers were installed correctly, it was strange as RW seemed like it wasn't detecting my toneport even though it was green and all. I'm pretty sure I routed everything to the same paths I used before caused I checked them before I downloaded anything.
It works fine now.. detects my new UX2 as well.

I open RWS and it tells me there is an update......I select yes and nothing happens past that.........there is no prompt to install. Is there a link to go and manually download the update?

Hey Ian,

I'm just getting going here and right off the bat I can't think of why your POD XT Live wouldn't work. Can you please send your RiffWorks.log file to support@sonomawireworks.com? It's located in My Documents - Sonoma Wire Works - RiffWorks

Thank you,
Randy

Hi ShredRex,

It should inform you that there's an update and then when you click "Yes", you should be prompted to save the update to your computer. If you're not seeing that, then I have to wonder if you don't have a firewall that could be blocking that part of the process.

Send a message to support@sonomawireworks.com and we'll work on this outside of this thread.

I'm sure we're seeing some additional load on the servers with all the software downloads happening right now.

Someone else reported that they were getting the prompt to download the update, but then the download wouldn't start. Then it started magically working a few hours later.

Please let me know if any of you are still having trouble with the download.

Hello Randy,
it's me again...but this time I got a real problem:

I downloaded and installed the new update but...
Everything seems to be ok, I loaded a song and worked on it...then I saved and I thought it was all right.
A couple of hours later I started again Riffworks and loaded the song and...there was NOTHING!!!
No layers, no drums, nothing...and when I try to play the program simply crashed down and I got an alert message sayin' "Riffwork inexpected closure".
AAAAAARRRGGGHHH!!!I LOST EVERYTHING!!!
So I tried to create a new song, I played a layer and saved it and then, after closing the program, I started again and reloaded the last file but...it's the same!
No layers, no drummers, and when I click on PLAY the program crashes down!!!

Unfortunately I did not have anymore the previous riffworks version so...

PLEASE HELP ME!!!

ANdREA

PS = I'm using the Mac OS version - I own a MacBook with OS 10.4.11 and 4gb of memory

I fortunately found an old installer so now I got the version 2.1.0.2710 installed which is working perfectly. I tried downloading and installing again the newest udate but...it's the same: when I save a file and then I load it everything it's void and, if I click on play, the program crashes!!!
