It shouldn't do that. I'll look into that. But you're saying it only happens if you click on it. Tom's making it sound like it tries to load the page even if you just let your mouse hover over it. Is that right?

ok...the main senario is I'm editing, so I'm using the pointer to shade portions of track I do or do not want to use..normal recording stuff. I sometimes use a mouse that is like on a notebook...a flat pad...which requires me to tap the pad much like a mouse click so the pointer can concentrate on an area. I'm doing this rather quickly so as I editing...in doing so I may trigger the page activation as I moving the pointer up and down and left to right. It certainly seems to me I don't even need to be directly over the avatar, that as long as I am using the mouse in the immediate area as the pointer has movement in the vicinity, (and I don't have an exact spec on area or distance..but my speculation is its happening because the avatar is on the same level as shaded audio portion) so...it'll trigger opening up to Riffworld.

either way.. this seems to be a new feature as I never had a problem with anything like this before...frankly, its cool and all... but you start adding some playback lag and things slow down a bit and you may not be quite so certain your pointer is where it shows itself to be.. and you end up creating more lag and draw on resources becuase you accicently opened up a profile in Riffworld.

So..if this is a new feature ...I honestly really don't like it... its been far to easy to trigger an unwelcomed page load while I'm trying to get some work done. My request is.. if the feature is here to stay...please allow for the ability to toggle it on or off in a remote place far clear of the editing process. Does that explain it a little better?

Can you disable tap to click on your track pad?

Maybe you're right... You can get to the user page by clicking on the avatars in the chat windows. Maybe the layer avatars is too much.

I'll check into it.

cheers,
