I have been using Riffworks with my little Pandora PX5D via USB and it's ASIO driver with no problem. I recently wanted to use my RP350, also via USB. Riffworks' input seemed to indicate it was connected to Digitech's ASIO driver (already on my computer) but when I tried to record it had a huge latency and both the riff and backing drums were covered with static. I tried to make adustments in the Audio Setup box and everytime got a "Riffworks Error" and the program shut down. Anyone else have this problem? Does Riffworks just hate my RP350? LOL

I believe that the RP350's drivers may not work with RiffWorks. Try the ASIO4all drivers instead and tell me how that goes.

Bummer :( The only ASIO driver showing up when my RP350 is plugged in is RP350's 1/2 in-out. There is no ASIO4all listed.

Back to the Pandora. I am trying to avoid using the VST since it tends to bog things down on my PC. I like getting my tone with hardware the recording into Riffworks

The ASIO4all drivers are free and available at http://www.asio4all.com. I have found some online references to these drivers working with RiffWorks and the RP350, so I definitely think it is worth a shot.

Eh, when I try to select ASIO4all in the ASIO control box, it gives me an error ("unhandled exception") and shuts Riffworks down. It initially reads the Digitech ASIO which seems to be causing problems. I'll keep trying

Last time I checked the Digitech ASIO drivers were listed as beta drivers and hadn't been updated in over a year.
See this page:
http://www.digitech.com/Download_Registration/
It listed the date as 2005 before, now they've removed the date, but it's still beta.
I think Digitech just dropped the ball on finishing these ASIO drivers.

Can you run the output of the RP350 into the Pandora?

cheers,

I have the RP-350 also -- I bought it just for the 50+ effects that my Pod X3 Live doesn't have and am using it in the FX Loop on the Pod. Just running the X-Edit editing software with GearBox and RW makes my computer blow it's top. When I hooked it up as the only device and tried to use the drivers for ASIO (just to see what DigiTechs amp modeling sounded like during a few test tracks) -- man, one unhandled exception after another.
So you are not alone.
