Hi,

that is, a very modest request: solo/mute buttons in rex files.

I usually load 4 rex files and then switch between them using the gain. A mute button will be useful.

YES. I want that too.... AND, a PREVIEW button in the 'browse' dialog for REX files... it's a pain to have to load them just to preview...
Or, if anyone out there knows a free program that you can use to prevew rex files, i'm not opposed to using a 3rd party/external thing either.

Is it off-topic to rave about the software here? Can I tell you it might be the best money I have EVER spent on guitar gear? Can I blather on about how it's changed my life and made my writing about 25X more productive???!?!? I threw a composition together in SF ACID and it took me about 3 weeks. I put something comparable down in RiffWorks in about 3 hours.... I've been recommending to all my friends.

I agree that it's a fantastitic piece of software. I too have been a lot more productive using riffworks instead of using sequencers like Project5 (which is great to use with Riffworks) or whatever.

But when you think about it, one of the strong points of Riffworks is it simplicity. Less features means a lot less to know and the need to be more creative to get the results you want.

I too would like to see some extra features in the future (like a mastering suite and making rewire more usable) but I think we should all be aware that the more features we request and are build in, the more complicated the software becomes to the point that we won't be as productive as we are now.

just my two cents ;-).

best regards,

I'll make sure the team sees your requests. Thanks for the rave :)!
