hey to you riffers out there...im new to this site and new to riffworks, ive been using my bnx3 to record music for many years with great cd quality results. i have a couple noob questions, what is the longest you can make a riff? 1 minute? 2 minutes? i can record as long as i want to on any track i select on my bnx3. also what does a bass guitar sound like using riffworks? how many choices of bass amps are there? thanks ....and keep riffin !!

welcome. the riff length can be quite long if you want. from 1 bar to 900. as to the time, 1min, 3mins, 5mins and up should be no prob.

bass sounds great, listen to the tunes on riffworld. the amp models are varied and with the gearbox bass paks there are lots.
if you use your own bass and amp direct into rw with stealth plug or a jamlab type plug the fxs in rw are great.

maybe one of the other guys will give you more info on the bass.

instead of long riffs, consider also the possibility of using songlayers. they cover all the song but you dont have to determine the length before recording.

thanks for your info....very helpful. i recently purchased the stealthplug with riffworks and cant wait to try it out. as ive been searching the boards here ive noticed alot of people complaining about system crashes, sure hope thats not the case for me. anyways looks like a great product from all the reviews and stats ive read.. cant wait to find out for myself...RIFF ON !
