hi folks,

I've been loving the use of riffwork with instant drummer, but somtimes depending on the song, I'd like to have something like an "instant drummer VST instruments" to use in other hosts DAW

Now can you please recommend some other VST drum machines that are very similar to it? with the same intensity and variation options, with Read/Wright automation preferbly, I used groove agent1 years ago, and think its the only close contender, but can you recommend some other good ones with in these specs?

Thanks a bunch

I've researched this one quite a bit myself. There are no products exactly like instant drummer which makes me think that Sonoma Wireworks should consider licensing the technology to other DAWs ;)

The two products which are are most comparable to "Instant Drummer" are probably Jamstix and DrumCore...

Jamstix 2

DrumCore (uses ReWire NOT VSTi)

I recently purchased DrumCore and I'm loving it!!

EZ Drummer is another interesting option: http://toontrack.com/ezdrummer.asp

Good to know there's a demand for InstantDrummer to work in other programs :)

Thanks,

Hi,

There's also Addictive drummer (something like that) and Session drummer from Cakewalk. Especially Session drummer is quite easy.
